Software developer, father, human being. I'm writing about everything I find interesting. So probably mainly politics, both local and international, but other things as well. Currently mainly concerned about demographic collapse. I'm trying to be active here in English only, but I'm not very good at it 😅 so activity in Polish is also possible For Polish: @ djvdq

People are complaining all the time how shitty search engines became in last few years (myself included), but are "we" doing anything about it?
It's probably a bad idea, but what if there were some kind of open index, where people could help to build it either based on their real usage (w/out any sensitive or PII data ofc) or by sharing their resources to crawl the web? And later create search engine based on this index, with all these features we're missing from "old google"?
